NARNIA:
It felt really good when the 2006 started. New record deals for NARNIA and when ENTER THE GATE was released the response was the best ever. We topped as No: 1 in the LEADER OF THE PACK in Sweden Rock Magazine. We did a great tour in Sweden as support act for SONATA ARCTICA, played Gates of Metal together with HAMMERFALL,MINISTRY,MAYHEM,STEEL ATTACK and many other bands.
We did a lot of shows in Sweden & Finland as headline act och we headline ELEMENTS OF ROCK in Switzerland. The interest from North & South America for NARNIA tour is big so hopefully we will reach these countries during 2006/2007.
DIVINEFIRE:
In the end of 2005 and beginning of 2006 Jani & I started the process to write and record our 3rd album. We have the same team behind this as we have had during HERO & GLORY THY NAME. Andreas Olsson (NARNIA) is the bassplayer of DIVINEFIRE and these people guested the album Carl Johan Grimmark (NARNIA), Patrik Gardberg (AMMOTRACK), Barry Haldan (RENASCENT), Thomas Vikström (TALK OF THE TOWN,CANDLEMASS and more)
It went very well and we wanted alittle bit harder approach than HERO. Our Japanese record company KING RECORDS came to Sweden during the last days of the mix and they loved what they heard. INTO A NEW DIMENSION was released in Japan September 21,2006 and will be released in NOVEMBER 2006 in EUROPE/USA through RIVEL RECORDS.
The albums GRIMMARK, ESSENCE OF SORROW & MISERATION finished their record session in 2006. ESSENCE OF SORROW & MISERATION will be released very late 2006 in Japan or early 2007.
ORATORIO's 2nd album RELEASE DATE IS November 2006.
I also worked out that the label MEDIAPOINT released MODEST ATTRACTION - THE TRUTH IN YOUR FACE is available again on CD
I also formed a sub-label called KLING GRAMMOFON for more pop oriented releases and first band out is SURROUND.
